Reviews from buyers
The “talking heads” are in fact Battle of Britain aces, WAAF plotters, foreign pilots, civilians who watched the battle etc. All these give snapshot views of what it was really like before, and during, the battle. Each snapshot is accompanied by a brief, but well made, dramatisation of the event being described. An accompanying dramatised commentary keeps the story on track. If you want to hear it from the horse’s mouth, buy this DVD.

My husband and I were completely blown away with this DVD, it was such an insight to the 2nd world war and was so amazed how the whole of Britain came together. The woman keeping the factories going and the whole morale of the country lifted. There are 4 DVD’S in the set and we could not wait to see the next one, they had us absolutely spell bound. I personally thought they would be boring but what a pleasent surprise!!
The DVD is described as “four films capturing stories of human interest from the Battle of Britain era”.
It is exactly as described.

Well thought out and presented. Good links with veterans of both sides together with out-take footage of Battle of Britain film included. I find it hard to believe how some people can be critical of a documentary like this as it is pretty comprehensive.
